Risk Disclosure

Os documentos legais estão disponíveis apenas em inglês.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Please read this page carefully before using any Markets On The Flow (“MOTF”) software, website content, videos or social media posts. Part A contains the disclosures required for vendors in the NinjaTrader® Ecosystem. Part B explains risks and limitations specific to MOTF indicators, statistical models, automated strategies and drawing tools. See also our Terms & EULA.

Part A — Required disclosures

Risk Disclosure

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure

Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program despite trading losses are material points that can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program that cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.

Testimonials Disclosure

Testimonials appearing on this website may not be representative of other clients or customers and are not a guarantee of future performance or success.

Security Futures

Part B — MOTF software and product disclosures

Analytical software, not investment advice

MOTF provides analytical, educational and execution software for the NinjaTrader 8 platform. MOTF is not a broker, futures commission merchant, commodity trading advisor or investment adviser, and does not provide individualized investment, trading, financial or tax advice. Nothing on this website, in the software, in our documentation, videos or social media is a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. All trading decisions are yours alone.

Indicators and chart markings

MOTF indicators display calculations derived from market data, such as order flow, delta, volume, large executed prints, balance levels, projections and patterns. Chart markings, labels, levels, alerts and colors are informational visual aids. They are not trade recommendations and do not indicate that a price move will occur. Calculations depend on the data your platform receives and on your settings, and may differ between data feeds, instruments, timeframes, historical and real-time data.

Statistical models

MOTF statistical models (including the MOTF Balance Behavior Model and Adaptive Statistical Context) summarize how price behaved historically in sessions the model classifies as comparable to the current one. Percentages, counts, frequencies, “odds” and path statistics shown by these models describe past outcomes in a limited historical sample; they are not forecasts, predictions or probabilities of future results, and they are not trading signals. Results depend on the instrument, session definitions, the amount and quality of historical data loaded, sample size (shown as counts and evidence labels such as “LIMITED” or “STRONG”) and on the similarity rules used. Market behavior changes over time, and historical tendencies can stop repeating without warning. Models labeled “EXPERIMENTAL” are under active development and may change.

Automated strategies

MOTF automated strategies submit, modify and cancel orders on your account according to rules and settings you configure. Automation does not remove market risk and can amplify losses when markets move quickly, when data or connectivity is interrupted, or when settings are inappropriate. Live results can differ materially from simulation, market replay and backtests due to slippage, latency, partial fills, liquidity, commissions, platform behavior and data differences. You are responsible for testing any strategy in simulation first, choosing position size and risk limits, supervising it while it runs, and stopping it when needed. If you trade with a proprietary trading firm or evaluation account, you are responsible for complying with that firm’s rules.

Simulated, replay and backtest results

Any results produced in simulation, market replay, backtesting or strategy analysis are hypothetical and are subject to the Hypothetical Performance Disclosure above. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not involve financial risk and may not reflect fills, slippage or costs in live trading.

Screenshots, videos and examples

Screenshots, charts, videos and examples on this website and on our social media are provided to illustrate how the software works. They may show selected past market dates, may use simulated or replay data, and are not representative of typical results. Features, layouts and values shown may differ from the current version of the software.

Market data, platform and execution

The software depends on NinjaTrader 8, your market data feed, your broker, your internet connection and your computer. Data errors, delays, disconnections, platform updates or execution issues outside MOTF’s control can affect what the software displays and how orders are executed.

NinjaTrader relationship and partner links

MOTF is an independent software developer and a vendor in the NinjaTrader Ecosystem. NinjaTrader does not approve, recommend or endorse MOTF products, and MOTF products are not NinjaTrader products. Some links to NinjaTrader on this website and on our social media are partner links; MOTF may receive benefits from NinjaTrader when you use them, at no additional cost to you. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any product, strategy, instrument, position size and risk configuration is appropriate for your circumstances, and for all orders placed on your account. If you are unsure, consult a licensed financial professional before trading.
