This Privacy Policy explains how Markets On The Flow, a trade name of Off Blue, LLC (“MOTF”, “we”, “us”), Aventura, Florida 33160, United States, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit marketsontheflow.com, create an account, purchase or use our software for NinjaTrader® 8, or contact us. MOTF is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes; we cannot read them.
- NinjaTrader account email: the email address of your NinjaTrader account that you enter at checkout, which we use to activate your license.
- Purchase information: the products you buy, prices, dates, order numbers and billing details (such as name, country and postal code) provided during checkout.
- Support communications: messages, screenshots and other information you send us when you ask for help.
- Support chat: the questions you type into the support chat on our website and the answers it gives, together with your IP address and the time. Please do not enter passwords, card numbers or other sensitive information in the chat.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and date and time of visits, recorded in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Account activity: sign-ins, downloads of your purchased products and the versions you downloaded.
- Software license checks: if a MOTF product checks its license or version with our servers, we receive the software version and a one-way encrypted (hashed) identifier of the computer. We do not store the raw machine identifier.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe on a secure Stripe payment page. When you pay, you provide your card, digital wallet (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay) or other payment details directly to Stripe. MOTF never receives or stores your full card number. We receive only the information needed to confirm and record your payment, such as a transaction or customer reference, the payment status, the amount, and limited details such as the payment method type and the card brand and last four digits.
2. How we use your information
- to create and manage your account and Customer Portal;
- to process your purchases, deliver downloads and activate your license on your NinjaTrader account;
- to provide updates, documentation and customer support;
- to send you service messages about your orders, licenses, updates and account security;
- to prevent fraud, license abuse and unauthorized access, and to keep our website secure;
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to enforce our Terms & EULA.
If you choose to receive news or product announcements, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run MOTF, and only as needed:
- Stripe — to process payments, prevent fraud and handle refunds or disputes. Stripe’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
- NinjaTrader — we add your NinjaTrader account email to NinjaTrader’s vendor licensing system so your license can be activated.
- Hosting and email providers — to host our website and database and to send transactional emails.
- Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular and which websites send us visitors. It does not use cookies or similar storage on your device, does not track you across other websites, and gives us only aggregated statistics.
- Google — only if you click “Accept” on our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, which pages they view and how they found us). Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser information. We do not use it for advertising, and Google’s advertising features are turned off. - Anthropic — our support chat is answered by an AI assistant (Claude) provided by Anthropic, PBC. The messages you type in the chat are sent to Anthropic to generate the answers and are handled under Anthropic’s commercial terms and privacy policy. The assistant can make mistakes and does not provide investment advice; for account-specific help, email us.
- Authorities and advisers — when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
- A buyer or successor — if MOTF is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of its business, subject to this policy.
4. Cookies
We use only cookies that are needed for the website to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms against misuse, and a preference cookie that remembers your language. These are always on. Our basic visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) work without cookies.
Analytics cookies (optional): with your permission, we use Google Analytics cookies (named
_ga and _ga_…, kept for up to 2 years) to understand how our website is used.
They are set only after you click “Accept” on our cookie notice. If you click “No thanks”
or ignore the notice, they are not set. Your choice is remembered on your device for 12 months. You can change
it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the
bottom of every page. We do not use advertising cookies.
Some links to NinjaTrader on our website are partner links. If you click one, NinjaTrader or its partner network may use cookies on their own websites to record that you came from MOTF. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies. Stripe may also use cookies on its payment pages for security and fraud prevention.
5. How long we keep it
- Account information: for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize it, except for the records below.
- Purchase and license records: for as long as needed to support your license and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (generally up to seven years).
- Support communications: for up to three years after the conversation ends.
- Support chat logs: for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Server logs: for a limited period, generally no more than 12 months, unless needed to investigate a security issue.
- Google Analytics data (if you accepted): for 14 months, then deleted by Google.
6. How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, access to personal information is limited to what is needed to provide our services, and payment details are handled by Stripe rather than by MOTF. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Never send us your passwords.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You will not be treated differently for using these rights.
You can update your account details in your Customer Portal. To make any other request, please contact us from the email address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Deleting your MOTF account does not remove a license from your NinjaTrader account unless you ask us to.
8. International visitors
MOTF is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live. By using our website, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in these countries, with the protections described in this policy.
9. Children
Our website and software are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other websites
Our website links to other websites, such as NinjaTrader, Stripe and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will let you know on our website or by email.
